We were honored to welcome Kim Kovol, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Tribal Affairs and Principal Deputy Director of the Administration for Native Americans, along with a distinguished group of leaders and partners in American Indian health during this week’s National Tribal Health Conference.
During their visit, our guests toured Patina Wellness Center, where we provide culturally responsive substance use treatment and support for individuals and families.
Native American Connections was deeply grateful for the opportunity to share our work and for the continued commitment of these leaders and organizations to strengthening health, wellness, and access to quality care throughout Indian Country.
Thank you to Dr. Carmela M. Roybal, Executive Director of the Native American Budget and Policy Institute (NABPI); Dr. Kimberly Fowler, Vice President of the Technical Assistance and Research Center at NCUIH; Jeremy Grabiner, MPP, Associate Director of Policy at NCUIH; Alaina McBournie, Senior Manager at The Pew Charitable Trusts; and Rob Siebers, Behavioral Health Researcher with The Pew Charitable Trusts’ Substance Use Prevention and Treatment Initiative for taking the time to visit Patina Wellness Center and learn more about our work.
We sincerely appreciate your leadership, partnership, and dedication to supporting the health and well-being of American Indian communities.
