Big news for HomeBase Phoenix, HomeBase Surprise, and the young residents we serve! NAC recently purchased two new-to-us sprinter vans that will help safely transport young people to school, work, job interviews, counseling, and other critical services.

For youth experiencing homelessness, transportation is often one of the biggest barriers to stability. These vans will allow HomeBase to respond more efficiently, reduce transportation gaps, and better support youth as they work toward independence and long-term success.

Special thanks to the Arizona Department of Economic Security for their support through the Housing Support Services grant, which provided funding for these vehicles. Thank you to everyone who continues to support practical solutions that help young people stay safe, connected, and moving toward a better future.

NAC was thrilled to host a group of community foundation leaders from across the US at Stepping Stone for an inspiring property tour!

The visit, organized in partnership with Arizona Community Foundation, was an incredible opportunity to showcase our housing strategy and the impact of ACFโ€™s predevelopment loan program.

Thank you AFC for being a vital partner in supporting the development of housing across the country.

On Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Day, we join communities across the country in honoring Indigenous women, girls, and relatives who have been taken too soon. This day is a call to remember, to uplift their names, and to stand united in our collective demand for justice and visibility.

Today, NAC clinicians, cultural providers, case managers, and staff are holding space with care as they share education about MMIWP, ensuring that those we serve feel seen and supported. We thank our clients, residents, and staff for their commitment to standing in solidarity and care for our relatives.

Whether through wearing red, creating art, offering prayer or song, or simply taking a quiet moment to remember, every action contributes to the collective movement for change.
