On Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) Day, we join communities across the country in honoring Indigenous women, girls, and relatives who have been taken too soon. This day is a call to remember, to uplift their names, and to stand united in our collective demand for justice and visibility.
Today, NAC clinicians, cultural providers, case managers, and staff are holding space with care as they share education about MMIWP, ensuring that those we serve feel seen and supported. We thank our clients, residents, and staff for their commitment to standing in solidarity and care for our relatives.
Whether through wearing red, creating art, offering prayer or song, or simply taking a quiet moment to remember, every action contributes to the collective movement for change.
