Our kiddos of KSIO were busy collecting feminine products for their Mardi Bra Drive, showing awareness to homeless females. They made 60 Swag Bags, and have started distributing them.

🚨UPDATE 🚨

Thank you, to everyone who’s dropped items off or had them delivered to my house!! We’re a few days from assembling and distributing the travel friendly swag bags (Sat. 6/6)!! We’re still looking for the following:

*Cinch Sacks/Swag Bags (need 40 more)
*Feminine Products
*Gently Used/New Bras
*Packaged Underwear (yes, I have to say that)
*Gently Used/New Socks
*Gently Used/New Shoes (easy to travel)

The kids have a goal to make 100 . We know they can do it!

Our wonderful kiddos from are wrapping up their , and had a wonderful meeting this morning!

Please see the attached flyer with all details regarding their drive. Tomorrow, we will have an Amazon Wish List to share with anyone interested in helping out. A HUGE shoutout to for supporting our cause.

Also, if you would like your kiddos to participate in Kids Swag It Out (KSIO), dm us! All participation, meetings and events, will count as community service hours!

Our kids are doing something GREAT, and we’re so glad to witness it!

Y’all know this has me fired up!! I never understood why these city councils and gvn’t officials feel the need to tell us we can’t feed the displaced!! I mean, come on, REALLY?! What if what we’re providing prevents them from stealing resources like pampers, clothing, pads, soap, etc?! What if the food we give them is the most recent meal they’ve eaten in 30 hours?! It could LITERALLY be the diff between life & death!! 😩 It’s so frustrating!!

I can’t wait until our kids program gets involved!! I dare them to turn our babies away!!! Some of you may know about our Kids Swag It Out (KSIO) Program. They are a student led volunteer program who give back to the community. They act as a board when conducting meetings, and all they want to do is help up!! If you’d like to get your kiddos involved, please DM me. Their current focus is their and they are collecting Feminine Products and/or hygiene items to create Travel Friendly Swag Bags to the homeless female population. I have attached their flyer with details.

Y’all!!!! It’s our today!! I can’t believe it’s been 8 years!! To date, we have:

*Served over 900 AsylumSeekers

*Serve over 125 Clients

*Created 6 Programs

*Served over 500 Displaced Individuals

*Served over 40 Families in our Family Angel Tree

Thank you, donors, the community, and board members for ALL you do! We would not be who we are, if not for any of you!

8 years, and we’re not finished.

Our student-led volunteer program rocks!!!! These kiddos had their very own board meeting to discuss serving the community.

A couple of years ago, they had a hygiene drive, and created 200 Travel Friendly Swag Bags. This year, they are spreading awareness for females in the homeless community, and will have a Drive!

We are so very proud of them, and proud of how they support the community. Please share this post, share the flyer, and DM me if you’d like to donate the any of the items.
