We were honored to visit the day program at The Communities of Don Guanella & Divine Providence, a Catholic Charities of Philadelphia program, and present an Alice Mayer Memorial Grant for $24,125.

The incredible staff welcomed us with open arms, but even more welcoming were the clients who gave us a peek into their day and proudly showed us their home away from home.

We got to see off those who were heading out to enjoy their day in the community and visit multiple classrooms where others were spending time doing crafts and playing games. What was clear in every corner was that this is a space filled with tremendous care, respect, and dignity.

It is such a joy to partner with organizations like this that embrace each person with compassion and help carry forward Alice Mayer’s legacy of caring for others.

We are eager to see the impact this grant will have on those served by the Communities.

Yesterday, we had the privilege of visiting several sites of The Ministry of Caring Inc. and presenting an Alice Mayer Memorial Grant for $24,125 to support an emergency call system and Lifeline CarePoint Smartwatches for residents of their affordable senior housing communities. Every resident deserves the safety, security, and independence this upgrade will help provide.

Seeing their mission in action was a powerful reminder that this grant will be put to work by a community of dedicated people transforming lives with compassion, dignity, and hope. We are honored to partner with organizations like Ministry of Caring that embody the spirit of faithful service and carry forward Alice Mayer's legacy of caring for others.

Thank you to the residents and staff for welcoming us so warmly. We look forward to seeing the impact this grant will have in the months ahead.

Last week, we had a wonderful time visiting The DePaul Catholic School and seeing firsthand the incredible work taking place within its classrooms and community.

It was a joy to witness the faith, dedication, and enthusiasm that make DePaul such a special place.

We are grateful for the opportunity to strengthen our partnership and look forward to continued collaboration with The DePaul Catholic School and the Independence Mission Schools network as we work together to support Catholic education and help students thrive.
