Lisa and Scott Cylinder are not only husband and wife, but are also mixed media and jewelry artists. Most of their work is made from base metal sheets and wire that is hand-cut and manipulated. Many pieces incorporate clever cold-joining techniques, as well. They often use various plastics and found objects. The most important aspect of their jewelry is the imagery. It has narrative themes based on fables, wordplay, and observations. Their work is humorous and narrative. 🦭🪲

The Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show is about more than just selling art. It’s a space that brings people together, builds community, and allows artists to share their creative work. Established in 1977 by volunteers to benefit a nonprofit institution, the show has remained the museum’s largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds directly support the museum and its public educational programs. Join us this November as we celebrate 50 years of community building, artistic expression, and creative celebration during the PMA Craft Show’s 50th anniversary.🎨🌱

Len Barag's work focuses heavily on textures. The surfaces of his ceramic works are inspired by elements of nature, such as dry riverbeds or tree bark. He hopes his pieces tell a story of their journeys as clay allows Len to glean from the past, work in the present, and dream of the future.

"For me it starts with the universal language of mathematics expressed through geometry and through vibrant color. Shapes, patterns, and forms are both captivating and timeless; they distill complexity down to their essence." - Eric Doctors

Ange Muhorakeye was born in Burundi, where she learned weaving from her mother & grandmother. When she left Rwanda for the United States, her mother gave her weaving materials & a reminder to carry her culture with her. In the U.S., she began making baskets as gifts, later growing her work into a way to support rural communities in Rwanda.
