INTERNATIONAL WORKERS’ DAY

Today isn’t symbolic. It’s a reminder.

Everything workers have—wages, protections, dignity on the job—was fought for. And it can be lost just as fast.

Right now, working people are being squeezed from every direction:
• Trade decisions made for politics, not stability
• Jobs becoming less secure while executives cash in
• Contracts being oversold while workers carry the risk

That’s not solidarity. That’s a system tilted the wrong way.

The labor movement was built on workers standing together and telling the truth—even when it’s uncomfortable.

The FEARLESS Slate believes in a union that fights forward, not one that explains things away after the fact.

Because May Day isn’t about looking back.

It’s about deciding what kind of movement we’re going to be going forward.

BIG Congratulations to our FEARLESS leader and candidate for General President, Richard Ho**er Jr..

Over 200 paratransit drivers, EMTs, and paramedics at Ambulnz just voted to join Teamsters Local 623.

A private ambulance company. A tough anti-union campaign. Management tried everything. It didn’t work.

The workers won with more than two thirds of the vote.

That kind of margin tells you everything. These workers were underpaid, overworked, and done being ignored.

This was built the right way. Worker-led. People organizing their own shops, talking to each other, putting in the time. Trisha, an EMT, said she did it for her coworkers and the future of EMS workers who deserve dignity and respect. Kate said what a union means in this work, a real voice as a team in a job where the stakes are high.

That’s what this is about.

Not talk. Not headlines.

Real organizing. Real workers. Real wins.

And this one matters. Private ambulance companies are not easy to organize. This sends a message that it can be done.

Under Ho**er’s leadership at Local 623, that’s what you’re seeing. Growth. Expansion. Bringing in workers who have been left behind for too long.
