Philadelphia Rose Society

Philadelphia Rose Society Welcome to our page! If you grow roses, want to grow roses, or simply enjoy America's favorite flower, this site is for you!

The Philadelphia Rose Society meets monthly (except July & August) at the Morris Arboretum of the University of Pennsylvania. In the Chestnut Hill area of Philadelphia, the Arboretum is located on Northwestern Avenue between Germantown & Stenton Avenues. The monthly meetings--free & open to the public--include interesting presentations by a variety of experts in roses, horticulture, and design. In early June (June 5 in 2016) we hold our Annual Rose Show, a juried exhibition to share our enthusiasm for & knowledge of roses. Again, this event is free & open to all. Often people say they " can smell us before they can see us."
