Our “Friends” have helped organize a few fundraisers for our trips- large focus of these efforts will be our trip to Switzerland but there are many trips and activities- your help is appreciated!
Keep an eye fro you local Girl Scout- they will be reaching out for our product sale- candy and nuts make great gifts!

Strayed away from our normal meeting to join the staff of the Schuylkill center for a full moon hike! It was a beautiful evening to hike by the light of the moon!

Ms. Jude, Emmie, and I went to today’s Service unit meeting. A service project for GracePhilly.. it was hoped that we would make 125 sandwiches. The group made 176!

The Girl Scouts were out recruiting today! Beautiful day at Roxtoberfest! They even got to meet a scout alumni who had gone to Switzerland and Our Chalet years ago- she will be 80 and we promised we’d find her and show her pictures! What a neat experience!!

Outdoor Art Badges continued… salt dough sculptures, nature concerts to compare last week’s sounds to this week, and closing with a round. Great meeting!

Our First meeting of the scout year and the beginning of out Outdoor Arts badges! Last night we acted as bugs, squirrels, & amphibians- we took pictures from their perspective, created a nature symphony, and made a playlist of songs to play on a hike, exercising, or just enjoying the outdoors! Here are few of examples of their creativity- great work scouts!

We “camped”, we kayaked, we jumped waves, we saw the horses, we found marine life in the salt marsh, cooked, got ice cream but most importantly we had a great weekend in Maryland! 🐴 🦀 🏖️

Last night, the scout year drew to a close with a ceremony, badges, and wooder ice and ice cream. Well done, girls!

Elmwood park Zoo snooze! Pizza, scavenger hunts, s’mores, and sleeping with the animals… it was a great evening!
