DJ Emynd is a Philadelphia-based DJ and producer known for eclectic, high-energy sets that highlight the connections between seemingly disparate genres of music. Alongside longtime DJ partner Bo Bliz, he became a fixture in Philly nightlife through influential hip-hop and club music residencies including White T’s and White Belts, The Bounce at The Barbary, and It’s The Year at Johnny Brenda’s. Over the years, he has traveled the world sharing stages with artists such as Diplo, Big Freedia, Freeway, Beanie Sigel, Peedi Crakk, Slick Rick, and Skream. Beyond DJing, Emynd is also an accomplished producer, with original songs and official remixes spanning hip-hop, club music, and beyond.
Most recently, he produced the beat for Flagboy Giz’s viral hit “We Outside,” and has also collaborated with artists including Lil B, Reef the Lost Cauze, Gucci Mane, Sage Francis, and Young Chris. These days you can find Emynd playing vinyl every third Saturday at “Mid-evening Marauders” at Sacred Vice with Bo Bliz, and periodically at Dante’s Hifi in Miami.
