Fishtown's 3rd Annual Silent Auction!

Our silent auction is coming up from November 1 through November 15, and local businesses are already stepping up! Here's a sneak peek at a few of the items you'll be able to bid on:

🎤 Tickets to shows at the Fillmore and Fabrika

🧘 Workout class packs to In Flow Studio and Monarch Yoga

Want an FNA shirt? 👕💙

Our shirts are designed by local artist Ethan Carroll and are available for a $20 donation to FNA. Donations help support future neighborhood events and community programming.

You can pick one up at Another Chance, a consignment boutique at 404 E Girard Ave. A big thank you to Another Chance for helping make our shirts available in person www.instagram.com/anotherchance_fishtown

We’ll also have shirts available tonight at Meet the Neighbors! Find us near the raffle table at Mural City Cellars W**e Garden from 5 to 8 PM.

We currently have adult and larger youth sizes available, with more kids and toddler sizes in various colors coming next week!

Looking for something fun to do with the family? 🎉 Join Friends of Fishtown Library for a Trivia Night Fundraiser on October 1st at Philadelphia Brewing Company!

Join us for a Trivia Night Fundraiser to benefit the Friends of Fishtown Library! Come out to Philadelphia Brewing Company on Thursday, October 1st and test your knowledge! Proceeds support the ongoing mural project and other library initiatives. This is a family friendly event. Snacks will be provided, but feel free to pack your own dinner! 📣 Fishtown Neighbors Association is looking for a Communications Volunteer!

We’re looking for someone to help us keep Fishtown neighbors informed, connected, and engaged with what’s happening in our community.

This is a great opportunity for a student looking to gain hands on experience, or for a communications, marketing, social media, or content professional who has some bandwidth and wants to use their skills to make a local impact.

This volunteer would take an active role in shaping how FNA communicates with our neighbors, including:

📰 Monthly newsletter: Identify what’s important and interesting to our neighbors, gather content from board members and community partners, and create and distribute our monthly newsletter.

📱 Social media: Help manage FNA’s Facebook and Instagram presence, including identifying and creating engaging content that keeps neighbors informed and connected.

💡 Communications strategy: Partner with FNA board members to help shape our overall communications strategy, identify opportunities to better reach our neighbors, and think creatively about how we can keep the community engaged.

This is an unpaid volunteer role with a flexible time commitment. You don’t need to be an expert in every area. We’re looking for someone who is organized, creative, a good communicator, and excited to take ownership of the role.
