This weekend marked Fr. Michael’s 55th Anniversary of Ordination! His witness to the Gospel is truly a gift to all who encounter him. We are blessed by Fr. Michael’s vocation and his commitment to bringing more love, peace, service and joy into the world! Help us congratulate him on this memorable occasion 🥳

These are his words of gratitude after receiving the Anselm Moons Award from Franciscan Mission Service earlier this year. A truly Franciscan sentiment on a wonderful night!

They’re here!!! The FVM 2026-2027 year is officially in swing! After a local orientation, the FVMs traveled to DC for opening retreat with Franciscan Mission Service DC Service Corps. Team builders, Franciscan values, prayer and community filled the days together- the beginning of a great year!

Welcome and gratitude to the newest members of our Franciscan community! Peace and all good

Last week FVM joined FMS for the annual World Care Benefit in DC! It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many branches of the Franciscan family, including many FVM alumni, board members, and friends! Fr. Michael was honored with the Fr. Anselm Moons Award for his decades of service. Celebrating Franciscan spirit at work in the world, it was a joyful and impactful event! Many thanks to our hosts

In this Easter season, we are reminded of the gift of belonging and connection- we are bonded through love to one another in this human family. May our actions reflect that belonging 💛
