Girard alumni, we are reaching out with honesty and a simple ask.

You may not have known Charles Warren Stanley ’67 personally. But if Girard was part of your story, you know why this matters.

Those seasons do not leave you. The stories still get told. The ones where you left everything on the field, the track, the court. Where the team was small but nobody played small.

Those stories stay with you.

This 5K is a chance to honor his legacy, to honor your own, and to make sure today’s student-athletes have their own stories to carry forward.

Our goal is for this run to become a Philadelphia tradition. One that brings alumni, students, families, and the broader community together around Girard, year after year.
