On Saturday, InspiriTec continued one of our favorite annual traditions by gathering outside the office to compete in our 6th Independence Dragon Boat Regatta on the Schuylkill River in Philadelphia! The regatta is a great opportunity for us to come together, build camaraderie, and celebrate the teamwork that drives our mission every day.

After six years as Team Captain, our CFO, Fred Holbert, announced that he is passing the paddle, and the captain's duties, to the next generation. As an organization built on creating opportunities and transforming lives, we're grateful for leaders like Fred who inspire others both on and off the water! Thank you, Fred, for your leadership, enthusiasm, and commitment to this InspiriTec tradition. And thank you to everyone who helped make this year's regatta a success, whether you were on the boat, cheering from the shore, or working the grill.

We're already looking forward to next year's race!

InspiriTec supports the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania by providing contact center and IT help desk services for several agencies - such as the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services, the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and the Pennsylvania Office of Administration.

We also change the lives of many Pennsylvanians with disabilities, through our partnership with the Pennsylvania Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR). We congratulate the Pennsylvania college students with disabilities who will receive professional development guidance while working in public service this summer, through the OVR Summer Internship Program!

The NASA Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) is part of the NASA Enterprise Services Center (ESC), which InspiriTec operates. The ESD team provides 24x7x365 Tier 1 IT support to NASA employees, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders. We are over the moon to announce that 𝐉𝐞𝐟𝐟 𝐁𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐨, a Team Lead on our ESD team who is based in our Philadelphia office, was named Achiever of the Quarter for the entire ESC!

Kathy Linn, Program Manager, Enterprise Services Center spoke to why Jeff earned the ESC’s Achiever of the Quarter for January-March 2026, at the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC) Quarterly All Hands meeting. Kathy was joined on stage by Anita Harrell, Executive Director, NASA Shared Services Center.

“When talking to customers, Jeff shows empathy and patience, and is a believer that customers may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel,” Kathy said. “The Agents contribute to the team more efficiently because of the coaching and assistance Jeff provides them.”

“InspiriTec has given me the opportunity to work in IT for a high-prestige customer like NASA,” Jeff says. “I look forward to continuing my career at InspiriTec on the Enterprise Service Desk (ESD) team.”

🚨𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐉𝐄𝐂𝐓 𝐀𝐋𝐄𝐑𝐓!!🚨

When we found out about the excessive wait times people using the COMPASS (Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Access to Social Services) web-based tool were waiting to speak with a representative for IT support, we offered our expertise. Our COMPASS Help Desk provides Tier 1 help desk support to Pennsylvanians who use COMPASS to apply for and manage human services benefits.

The COMPASS Help Desk is InspiriTec’s latest example of supporting upward mobility for professionals with disabilities. The customer service professionals on the COMPASS Help Desk have advanced from our Affordable Care Act (ACA) Consumer Services Center, because they were familiar with the COMPASS system from working on the ACA team, and they were prepared to enter a more complex technical help desk environment. We are proud of their career progression!

InspiriTec’s John Connolly and Michele Smith attended an “Our Community Salutes” event at The Union League of Philadelphia, where high school seniors who have chosen to join the U.S. Armed Forces were recognized. John and Michele are pictured with Jeff George, a retired Army Veteran and the event’s Master of Ceremonies.

As a provider of contact centers and IT help desks that directly serves the military community and employs Veterans, and as Americans, we are proud to support our nation’s military!

We are proud of our work to support the military community, both as an employer of many people within the military community (including over 130 Veterans), and as a contact center and IT help desk provider to the Department of War and the Army. Our colleagues who serve the military community through their work at InspiriTec have earned us several awards throughout our history, including the SourceAmerica Honor Roll for Veterans and Performance Excellence in Hiring Veterans with Disabilities awards.

This Military Appreciation Month, we thank our colleagues, customers, and the entire U.S. military community for their continued service to our country!
