We are beyond grateful 💛🏈

For the second year in a row, Jordan Mailata and Niki Mailata have donated $50,000 to Focused Athletics, helping us provide life-changing support to young middle and high school athletes in Philadelphia. Their generosity through Philly Special Christmas (produced by Connor Barwin and featuring Eagles legends Lane Johnson and Jason Kelce) makes moments like this possible.

Focused Athletics is 100% donor-funded, with no overhead — so every dollar goes straight to serving the boys we work with — and we’re proud that 100% of our participants graduate high school and go on to secondary education.

And today we’re cheering for Jordan off the field too! 🏆 He’s been named the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year nominee for the Eagles, one of the NFL’s most prestigious recognitions for impact in the community.

We’ll be watching the Super Bowl today just for him. 🙌

Jordan Mailata of the Philadelphia Eagles has been nominated for the award by the NFL—and from where we stand, there is no one more deserving.

Basically, from the moment Jordan moved to Philadelphia, he and his wife Niki Ikahihifo Bender Mailata ( have shown up for the young men of Focused Athletics—not for the spotlight, but for the impact.

It started with time and energy:
• Supporting our annual ping-pong fundraiser year after year
• Working out side-by-side with our kids at weekly gym sessions
• Being consistently present, approachable, and invested

And over time, their commitment only deepened. Jordan and Niki have become two of our organization’s most meaningful supporters—not just financially, but relationally. They believe in these boys, their futures, and the power of steady mentorship.

We have watched, year after year, the real difference this kind of dedication makes. Jordan doesn’t just talk about giving back—he lives it. That’s why we can say, without hesitation, that he embodies everything this award stands for.
