Remembering such a fantastic time in The Salvation Army Puerto Rico with PRVI Music & Arts just a few months ago! 🇵🇷🎶🫶

During National Salvation Army Week, the Pendel Brass and Singers, a music and arts group from The Salvation Army Eastern Pennsylvania & Delaware Division, went on a mission trip to the Puerto Rico and Virgin Islands Division (PRVI) to minister with music and service. 🎶

Band mission trips are a perfect chance to inform people about Jesus and The Salvation Army while serving our global neighbors. Sharing God-given artistic gifts on the trips captures peoples’ attention and brings them in to learn more. These performances are testimonies that bridge divides and remind us of connections we share. ❤️

"We don’t just want to do a music trip just to go play some songs. We want to make sure that we’re going somewhere that has an impact." – Edward Mylechrees

🤠🐴🌵

This past summer, the Pendel Music & Arts presented a new Jesus Theater production called “West of Eden” but with an extra twist: they made it Western! 🤠

Camp staff members at Camp Ladore in Pennsylvania were excited to present this production to campers.

Jesus Theater is a creative arts presentation of the gospel of Jesus Christ, originally created for camp ministries.

It began in 2014 in the Eastern Territory, under the leadership of Katie Luse, and has since expanded to every territory in the United States.

Since 2014, camps in the Eastern Territory have recorded thousands of lives committed to Jesus because of the ministry of Jesus Theater. 🧡

Have you experienced Jesus Theater at camp? Share your favorite memory in the comments!
