Thank you to Congressman Chris Deluzio, Lt. Governor Austin Davis, Pennsylvania Association of Staff Nurses & Allied Professionals & Protect Our Care Pennsylvania for joining with us today to celebrate the 61st anniversary of Medicaid & Medicare.

We need to build on these tremendously successful programs. Not tear them down.

But instead, Congress cut $1 trillion from Medicaid and failed to renew Affordable Care Act tax credits, which will leave an estimated 580,000 Pennsylvanians without coverage.

We need to reverse the damage and lower health care prices for everyone.

Extra big thank you to Neena, who joined us to speak about her town of Bradford's experience with the local hospital's closure, one of the many harmful impacts of H.R. 1. 🙏🙏

At the event, local artist Theresa BrownGold, will share selections from her powerful portrait series inspired by the lives of people whose experiences with illness, medical debt, health insurance, and access to care changed their lives forever.

The evening will also feature interactive activities, FREE tacos & churros, prizes, and a chance to add your own story to the national One Nation, Overcharged campaign. The event is free, and all are welcome!
