We would love to thank these Howard University student volunteers who, on their Alternative Spring Break, chose to come to Philly and help our All-Stars learn about the opportunities college presents. The Howard students created activities based on their majors, so our All-Stars were able to perform science experiments, have a debate, build a dream house, and more. Thank you to these Howard students for their generosity!

Did you know less than 10% of our All-Stars have been to live performances of any kind?

We are working to change that! Recently our All-Stars from 3 different schools have engaged with the arts in great ways. ASASPC would like to thank Arden Theatre for welcoming James G. Blaine School for a wonderful performance of Roald Dahl’s The B.F.G. (The Big Friendly Giant) for our All-Stars. We would also like to thank The Academy of Music and Philadelphia Ballet for their beautiful performance of The Nutcracker Ballet for our All-Stars from Conwell Middle Magnet School. Finally, we would like to recognize Thomas G. Morton Elementary School for their fantastic Winter Showcase!
