Why is the ICCD Delaware Feis and Festival Weekend so AWESOME? Easy ….. the people behind the scenes work really hard to welcome you and make sure you have a FUN weekend! The Irish Culture Club of Delaware is the main host and volunteers from 6 area schools help run it like a well oiled machine!
ICCD - chairs - Nora Smith, Eileen Paulson, Phil Leach, Paul Dolan - work hard all year long putting the feis and festival puzzle pieces together ❤️🇺🇸💙 Our awesome ICCD volunteers help you unload your car, hold doors, and greet you with a friendly smile on entering!
Kathy Hanley, Maureen Looney and Do Cairde - they take care of the hospitality for our judges and musicians all weekend long and make sure champ awards are lined up and ready to go ❤️🇺🇸💙
JJ Hester and Hester Academy of Irish Dance - making the champ awards so fun all weekend long - great music alongside for a great and FUN atmosphere ❤️🇺🇸💙
Megan Harper and Haylee Kirk and The Harper-Kirk Academy of Irish Dance oversee grade stages and run it so efficiently (be on time), their volunteers greet you with a smile at grade awards all weekend, and they run a really FUN treble reel party Saturday night!
Tara McHugh and McHugh School of Irish Dance - Entry chair - HUGE job! Help run grade stages and welcome you at the front desk!
Kate O’Brien and Emerald Isle Academy of Irish Dance - best in the business in running a raffle table hands down and coordinating the 50/50 - truly our raffle table is one of the best anywhere - and our 50/50 - payout is usually around $5,000!!!
Eileen Paulson, Veronica McAleer, Tricia Burke, and Erin Fletcher and McAleer-Paulson School of Irish Dance - co-chair the event, and run champ stages and a grade stage, do stage signs, and fb champ award posts!
Joan Ruane - everyone knows Joan - she just jumped in a few years ago and helps wherever needed - truly the feis angel 😇
And all volunteers from the ICCD and all 6 schools work together to help set-up, break down, get sponsorships, sell 50/50’s, donate baskets run marks, and a million other things to do whatever is needed to make your weekend FUN!
