Summer is a time for fun, exploration, and new experiences, but it is also an important time to keep young minds engaged in learning. United Way of the Coastal Empire is partnering with Bryan County, Georgia to help build daily ready habits with children at summer camps in North and South Bryan County.

Campers in grades K–6 grade will participate in an eight-week reading challenge that encourages them to read daily in June and July. Those who successfully complete the challenge will receive a coupon for a free children’s meal from Chick-fil-A. Younger children will also receive a free book to add to their home library!

Through community support, encouragement, and fun incentives, this program helps students build strong reading habits that will benefit them long after summer ends.
