🍂 Harvesting Careers: Preparing for the Next Opportunity! 💜

Yesterday, The Power of Exchange Movement (POE) was proud to participate in the Harvesting Careers Workforce Readiness Workshop at the Moses Jackson Advancement Center in Savannah!

Through our POE Movement Workwear Closet, we helped support individuals as they prepare for their next career opportunity. Because preparing for a new season is about more than finding a job—it’s about building confidence, feeling prepared, and believing in what’s possible.

We’re grateful to Step Up Savannah, EOA Savannah, the Moses Jackson Advancement Center, and all the partners who came together to invest in our community.

We’re also excited that POE was featured in the news! 🎉 Every opportunity to share our mission helps us continue building connections and creating meaningful impact.

At POE, we believe that when we come together, we can help others move forward with confidence and purpose.

Partnership Spotlight: POE + PARC

The Power of Exchange Movement Inc. (POE) is grateful for the opportunity to partner with the City of Savannah Government Pennsylvania avenue Resource Center (PARC) and Director Danielle Erwin-Campbell to serve our community.

Through this partnership, POE has provided career attire during PARC’s Second Chance events in June and August, with another opportunity planned for the fall.

But this partnership is about more than clothing. It’s about confidence, opportunity, and preparing people for their next season. We’re excited to continue growing this partnership as POE plans and hosts community events at PARC, creating spaces for people to Release. Prepare. Receive.

We are truly thankful to PARC for welcoming POE and allowing us to serve alongside them. When we come together, we can create opportunities, build confidence, and make a meaningful impact in our community.

April was a beautiful month at POE. 💜
From our prom dress giveaway to tea parties, chapter meetings, and our train ride to Charleston—every moment was filled with laughter, connection, and soul-healing conversations.

We didn’t just show up… we embodied it all. ✨

Charleston, you gave us more than a trip—you gave us an experience that touched our hearts and strengthened our spirits. 💛✨

"How wonderful and pleasant it is when sisters live together in unity!" — Psalm 133:1

So many beautiful moments… sacred conversations, genuine laughter, deep encouragement, and bonds that will last a lifetime. What we experienced wasn’t just time away—it was healing, connection, and sisterhood in motion.

From the very beginning, we were covered in love. A beautiful serenade by Gavin and his mother Sierra welcomed us in such a special way. The thoughtful welcome sign and Charleston Chewies were more than gifts—they were a reminder that we were seen and poured into from the start. Thank you for your kindness and intentionality.

To Mrs. Priscilla—thank you for being more than transportation. You shared your joy, your wisdom, and the beauty of Charleston with us so freely. Your spirit added something unforgettable to our experience.

A special thank you to Centerpoint Church of Remount for providing the van for our trip. Your generosity helped make this experience possible, and we are truly grateful for your support of our journey.

And to the women of POE… what we shared was powerful. The vulnerability, the strength, the love—it was God moving in the midst of us. Lives were touched, hearts were lifted, and something unbreakable was formed.

This is POE.

Motivational Moment: God's plan and purpose for your life will always, out last a paycheck.

But there will be moments when the money looks good, and the assignment doesn’t feel right. Moments when comfort calls louder than calling. Choose purpose anyway because you will lose what isn't anointed or blessed by God!

What a beautiful time we had at our POE Tea Party ☕

It was so much more than tea that was shared… we poured into one another with love, support, encouragement, and genuine connection. 💜

Each story, each smile, each moment of celebration was a reminder of what The Power of Exchange truly represents—when we come together, we grow, we heal, and we uplift one another.

Grateful for every woman who showed up, shared, and embraced the moment. This is what community looks like. 💜
