🇺🇸❤️ Great News and Exciting Things Ahead at American Legion Post 27! ❤️🇺🇸

Tonight’s membership meeting brought together new and longtime members for an evening of great news, connection, and fellowship.

We began with special guest speaker Jimmy Lee Armel, introducing us to Knot Lucky, a nonprofit that supports veterans through boating and fishing. 🎣 Thank you, Jimmy, for sharing this meaningful mission with us!

Seeing the firehouse filled with members was a great reminder of what makes our Post so special. We’re proud of our growing membership and excited about what we’re accomplishing together.

📅 Coming up at Post 27:

* 🥫 Community food drive
* 🇺🇸 Veterans Day flag replacement ceremony
* 🚧 Pavilion groundbreaking ceremony
* 🎄 Wreaths Across America

There’s plenty to look forward to, and we’re glad to have so many members involved in making these events happen!

COME SERVE. COME REMEMBER. COME BE PART OF SOMETHING BIGGER. We invite Post 27 members, families, veterans, community organizations, and friends to join us December 19. Volunteers arrive at 9:00 AM. Ceremony begins at 10:00 AM.

Whether you sponsor a wreath, volunteer your time, or simply come to participate in the ceremony, you are helping us keep the promise: This is more than placing a wreath. It is about teaching our young people what service looks like, honoring the generations who came before them, and ensuring that the names and sacrifices of our veterans are never forgotten.

Wreaths Across America ("WAA") coordinates wreath-laying ceremonies every December to "Remember, Honor, and Teach" about the sacrifices made by our veterans and their families. Please check out this page to learn how you can help by sponsoring Veterans Remembrance Wreaths or by joining us on Decembe...
