Nine years ago, my world changed forever. Not a day goes by that I don’t miss my sweet baby girl, Amara. 💜🦋

Time has moved forward, but my heart has never stopped loving her — and never will. Her laughter, her light, her little soul left an imprint that nothing in this world could ever erase. Though she’s no longer here in my arms, she lives within everything I do and every life we touch through Amara’s Butterflies Foundation.

This year, on her ninth heavenly anniversary, we honor her legacy with love, purpose, and giving — making donations to Cohen Children’s Medical Center and Stony Brook Children’s Hospital, Child Life Services, as well as the NICU, PEDS, and PICU units. These are places where hope is fragile but powerful — places that once held my world in their hands.

Keeping her memory alive through acts of kindness is how I breathe life into the love I still carry for her. This isn’t just a donation… it’s a piece of my heart.

Amara, Mommy misses you every second of every day. Your legacy continues to shine, touching lives just like you touched mine.

Come join us for Amaras Butterflies Foundation Fourth of July event on Sunday, July 6 from one to 4 PM with all kinds of giveaways, bouncy houses, a barbecue, petting zoo, raffling off baskets, and gift certificates, Mr. softy, and so much more. All proceeds will be given to Sunnybrook Children’s Hospital $20,000 For high life services and family funding foundation.
