One of the most beautiful things about Angel Baby is that the people here who make these moments possible have never lost a child themselves.

They are the outside force of love. The people who show up, stand beside grieving families, speak their angels’ names, and remind them they are not alone.

Some understand the loss firsthand. Others simply choose to hold the light.

✨ A little behind-the-scenes explanation of what to expect at our Wave of Light this year! 🤍

For the families joining us, a ticket is required to attend. We have several meaningful activities planned, and I wanted to share a little glimpse of how the evening will unfold so you know what to expect.

And for my helpers, volunteers, and the people who have shown up for this mission over the years, you do not need a ticket. 🤍

This time, I’m not asking you to provide a service, work a station, or take on a job. I’m simply inviting you to come be part of something beautiful. To show up, hold a light, speak a name, share a moment, and be present for the families who need it. This time, just come be a light as you are. ✨

I can’t wait to share this evening with you. 🕯️

Honestly, there are no words for Sal’s family and his mama Maria Toscano

When she first started Sal’s extremely generous birthday fundraiser a few years ago, I realized Angel Baby had to find a way to pay homage to their world changing son.

When we realized SAL could become an acronym for Sibling After Loss, we just knew what he was meant to do here: a scholarship.

His mom jumps on every opportunity to help: dropping books in our little free library, setting up the Angel Stories station at the vigil, and for providing THREE YEARS of scholarships for graduating siblings who have experienced loss. Sal even rented restrooms one year for the vigil! She is also one of the first mom’s contact info I send out to our new mamas. We are so grateful for Sal’s light in this world that shines through his family.

How to remember: show up. 🤍

Look for the walks, the remembrances, the candlelight vigils, the fundraisers, the memorials.

Make an effort. Get involved. Even if it feels uncomfortable or you don’t know what to say.

Because sometimes, simply seeing someone you love standing there, remembering with you, can mean more than you’ll ever know.

A sanctuary retreat in the mountains, a place for connection, creativity, healing, and a whole lot of magic. Angel City ✨
