ng our foster cats in loving, responsible homes. All cats and kittens are fully vetted prior to the finalization of adoption. Vetting includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, f***l testing, FeLV testing, deworming and any other tests or treatments deemed necessary by our veterinarian.

Golden is a friendly, playful and affectionate boy. He was found with a leg fracture that was treated by the Town of Hempstead. Once he was healed, they asked if we would take him into our program and he became a member of the JAC family!

Golden was born on 4-30-25 and is located in our Adoption Center in Petsmart in Commack, NY.

Available for Adoption: Hershey & Butterscotch 🍫🍬

These sweet kittens are affectionate, friendly and easy to handle. They love to play and are great with kids and other pets. These boys are brothers and get along great, but not considered a bonded pair. Hershey is all black and Butterscotch is a cream/orange tabby.

They were born on 4-19-26 and are located in Commack, NY.

Remember Cassie? We were reached out to about a sick cat this February who was struggling to breathe. We took her in and got her the treatment she needed. After many rounds of antibiotics, she still sounded congested.

X-rays were performed and a mass was seen. Today she went to the Animal Surgical Center for a CT-scan and mass removal. They discovered a very large mass under her sub-pallet, which they removed and sent out for histopathology. They also saw signs of inner ear disease, which we should hopefully get more clarity on once the CT scan results arrive.

The last 2 vet visits for Cassie cost the rescue $1900, please consider donating towards her care. We are inundated with vet costs with kitten season and helping the home of 15+ adult cats and kittens.

𝗡𝗢 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗥 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗬𝗘𝗧!! 𝗪𝗘 𝗡𝗘𝗘𝗗 𝗛𝗘𝗟𝗣!! - 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗴𝘂𝗲, 𝗡𝗬

Please help us help this family. These cats are in one room, not fixed and we need to get them separated to stop them from continuing to mate.

We have been asked to help by the daughter of a woman with dementia. Due to her condition, she let the situation in her home get out of hand. Now she has 15 adults and 4 kittens (we've already placed 3 kittens with a foster). 2 of the adults have young, nursing kittens and one is likely pregnant. At least 9 of the adults are friendly. 2 of the cats in this graphic are currently in need of foster and are friendly. The other cats are just skittish, but not aggressive and likely just need some socialization.

We are VERY short on fosters. Some of our long time fosters are currently unavailable. PLEASE consider joining our team and helping us help this poor woman who's just trying to do the right thing for these cats and her mother.

Baloo is a playful girl who really LOVES dogs. She is obsessed with her foster's senior dog. She follows him around rubbiing against him and trying to headbutt him. She gets along well with other cats as well. Baloo is skittish with people and would be best in a home where the human attention demands are low, but she can enjoy other animals.
