Right when we needed it, the Jane Guido Foundation came through once again! There is something incredibly meaningful about having a community ally who continues to show up when it matters most. Thank you for another much needed food pantry donation and for your continued commitment to our clients and community! Your generosity reaches far beyond the items on our shelves—it reaches the women and children we serve, reminding them that they are supported.

Congratulations to our Executive Director, Melissa Austin!

15 years of service to our mission.
15 years of compassion in a world that often needs more of it.
15 years of pouring your heart into work that matters.
15 years of being the steady hand when others needed guidance.
15 years of leading with kindness.
15 years of making people feel safe, supported, and believed in.
15 years of lifting others while expecting nothing in return.
15 years of advocating for people when they could not advocate for themselves.
15 years of reminding us that the most meaningful work is rooted in human connection.
15 years of making a difference that extends far beyond these walls.
15 years of impact that will continue long after today.
15 years of building something greater than yourself.
15 years of leaving every place and every person better than you found them.
15 years of leaving a legacy measured not in accomplishments, but in lives touched and hearts changed.

You have shown that true leadership is not measured by authority, but by the number of people who stand taller because of your influence.
Thank you for 15 years of service. 🏡

The students participating in Sayville High School’s Community Connect Day showed what community is all about! From collecting donations to organizing and delivering items for our clients, their generosity and dedication were truly inspiring.

The amount of items gathered was incredible, and their efforts will make a meaningful difference for so many individuals we serve. Thank you for showing the power of kindness in action!

A huge THANK YOU to Boy Scout Troop 184 of Sayville!

We extend our gratitude to all the scouts, families, and friends who came together in support of the women and children we serve. A very special thank you goes to Todd Williams (pictured right) for organizing such a meaningful donation drive and inspiring the community to give so generously. We would like to extend our appreciation to Malcolm Merced (pictured left) for his assistance in delivering the donations and supporting this initiative from start to finish.

Because of your compassion and dedication, an incredible collection of household items was gathered to help our clients in need. We are especially grateful to the scouts who volunteered their time to organize, sort, and pack the donations for delivery to our shelters. Your teamwork and willingness to serve others truly reflect the values of scouting and community spirit.

We are inspired by your commitment to service and the example you are setting in our community. Acts of kindness like yours strengthen our mission and help us continue providing safe and supportive spaces for those in need.

Thank you, Troop 184, for turning compassion into action and showing the true spirit of community service! 💙

A big shoutout to Dinah and Samara from City MD for donating 200 welcome kits for incoming clients.

In the middle of crisis, the basics matter more than ever; simple essentials can bring assurance to a moment that feels anything but stable. These kits help clients land softly, giving them what they need to regroup, reset, and move forward one step at a time.

We’re grateful for this thoughtful donation and for partners who understand that support starts with the small things that make a big difference!
