Providing services to homeless women, and young women with children in Suffolk County. Young women can get help here for anything they need.

Mostly a safe place to stay, go to school, get counseling and work. Residents can leave at any time, this is not a prison, or juvenile hall or a foster home. Come on your own, eave if you do not like it.

At Mercy, we believe that creating a warm, comfortable, and inviting environment is an important part of making our residents feel at home. Sometimes, it’s the little touches, like colorful mums, pumpkins, and seasonal decorations, that help make a house feel more like a home. 🧡🏡

A very special and heartfelt thank you to Girl Scout Troop 1275 for choosing Mercy Center Ministries for their service project and for putting so much heart into supporting the women and children we serve.

The girls came together to organize a thoughtful donation drive with a special focus on raising awareness about domestic violence. They chose a date, collected donations, sorted and organized the items, and created welcome kit bags filled with needed items and positive messages of encouragement.

What makes this project so meaningful is not only the generosity of the donations, but they took the opportunity to learn about an important issue in our community while finding a meaningful way to support women and children who are moving forward from difficult circumstances.

Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and commitment to giving back to your community. We are incredibly grateful for the time and effort you put into making this project so special. Your kindness will have a meaningful impact!

A HUGE thank you to the Eastport-South Manor Jr./Sr. Honor Society for organizing such a meaningful 3 day drive to support the women and children we serve!

The response from the community was truly amazing. People showed up and gave generously, reminding us just how powerful it is when a community comes together for others.

What came through our doors was so much more than donations. It was people saying, “We see you. We care. We want to help.”

We are so grateful to every student, family, and neighbor who donated or helped make this donation drive such a success. Your kindness will make a real difference in the lives of the families we serve.

Right when we needed it, the Jane Guido Foundation came through once again! There is something incredibly meaningful about having a community ally who continues to show up when it matters most. Thank you for another much needed food pantry donation and for your continued commitment to our clients and community! Your generosity reaches far beyond the items on our shelves—it reaches the women and children we serve, reminding them that they are supported.

Today we celebrated our 4th Annual Ice Cream Celebration, bringing together our clients, children, staff, neighbors, and community friends for a fun filled summer afternoon!

A little ice cream, lots of smiles, and the joy of coming together make for the sweetest memories. 💙

The students participating in Sayville High School’s Community Connect Day showed what community is all about! From collecting donations to organizing and delivering items for our clients, their generosity and dedication were truly inspiring.
