Our 2026 theme draws inspiration from an unexpected source: a line from the film “Home Alone 2.” The quote, “Maybe they don't forget about you, but they forget to remember you,” underscores the importance of actively remembering the individuals who served, especially those whose stories risk being lost to time.

I'd like to extend my sincerest gratitude to the outgoing officers of 2025-2026 for their tireless efforts on behalf of the Post. I'm excited to collaborate with the 2026-2027 officers to drive the Post to new heights. My appreciation also goes to the Suffolk County Installation team, comprising Tom Wagner, Dave Issacs, and Bill Coderre, for their time and dedication. Additionally, thank you to Dominick Thorne and Kevin Weeks for their recognition of our Post. Lastly, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to our Auxiliary for their unwavering support.
