✨ Mason and Darcy will be spending the weekend with us, and we would LOVE to have meet and greets! ✨

Meet Mason & Darcy!

Mason and Darcy were rescued from a local family along with 12 of their siblings. Now 8 months old, these two sweet pups have been waiting for over 3 months for someone to give them a chance, and we would LOVE to see them finally find their people. 🥹❤️

Mason is a happy, playful, and curious boy who is eager to explore the world around him. He’s doing great in his foster home and is ready for a family who can continue helping him grow, build confidence, learn new things, and enjoy plenty of adventures together.

Darcy is a little more shy and nervous when meeting new people or experiencing unfamiliar places. She may need some extra time and patience to feel comfortable, but once she does, her sweet and affectionate personality begins to shine. She’s curious, playful, and loves having other dogs around to help her feel at ease.

Both pups would benefit from a patient, loving family committed to positive experiences, confidence building, and continued training. Due to their past, they would do best in homes with other dogs and can do well with well-behaved children.

These babies have spent over three months waiting with little to no interest, and we know their forever families have to be out there somewhere. They deserve the chance to experience life beyond waiting for someone to notice them. They deserve adventures, cozy nights, a family to call their own, and someone who sees just how special they are. ❤️

Meet Humphrey! 🐾

Humphrey is a 6-month-old puppy who is equal parts sweet cuddle buddy and playful puppy! When he’s not busy enjoying some puppy fun, he’s happiest snuggled up with his people and soaking up all the attention.

Humphrey is a smart boy who is eager to learn, and being treat motivated definitely helps! He is currently working on his housebreaking and continuing to learn his puppy manners.

Meet Monty!

This handsome 6-year-old boy has quite the story. Monty was once part of our Training Wheels Program years ago, and we were so happy to see his familiar name come back to us when he was surrendered to an overcrowded, high-kill shelter.

Because Monty had previously received medical care through us, his microchip information led the shelter back to our rescue. We immediately put in a request to pull him and bring him to safety. ❤️

Now that he’s with us, we’re getting to know this sweet gentleman all over again. Monty absolutely loves being around people and enjoys nothing more than taking a nice stroll outside with his favorite humans. He is housebroken, affectionate, and truly a gentleman.

Monty may also do well with a laid-back, easygoing dog who will respect his pace and personality. Our vet did note some arthritis in his rear legs, so continued medication and management for his arthritis will be recommended to help keep this senior boy comfortable.

After everything he’s been through, Monty deserves a loving home where he can relax, enjoy his walks, and spend his days surrounded by people who adore him. 🐶💙

This sweet 5-year-old girl is ready for a fresh start—and a forever home to call her own. Martha Maye absolutely adores her stuffed animals and enjoys going on brisk walks, making her the perfect companion for someone who loves both cuddles and a little daily adventure.

She came to us severely overweight and is looking for a dedicated adopter who can support her on her weight loss journey and help her live her happiest, healthiest life. With patience and love, she’s sure to thrive!

Martha Maye would do well with kids and may be a good match for a calm, low-key dog. She hasn’t been tested with cats yet.

Hershey is an adorable 11-month-old puppy with a heart as sweet as his name! This handsome boy is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to his people.

Hershey is doing well with his potty training and continues to make great progress in his foster home. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and has even learned that the resident cat is best left alone.

Meet Pippa! 🐾

Pippa is a 6–8 month old Lab mix puppy who is the perfect combination of playful, adventurous, and sweet. She is full of energy and love and is always ready for her next adventure!

Pippa is learning her manners in her foster home and is doing wonderfully. She loves playing with other dogs, zooming around the yard, and having fun with her toys. When she’s ready to settle down, she’s happy to find a cozy spot to chew on a bone.

She is housebroken and lets her foster family know when she needs to go outside. She is also crate trained and sleeps through the night like a champ!

Pippa is smart, curious, and eager to learn. She’s looking for a forever family who will continue to help her grow while giving her all the love, playtime, and adventures she deserves. ❤️

Meet Rook!

This sweet 8-month-old boy is ready to leave his past behind and find the loving family he deserves.

Rook came to us after finding himself at the Animal Care Center of Manhattan alongside his siblings. They came from a home where they were living in awful conditions, but despite everything he has experienced at such a young age, Rook has remained one of the sweetest boys we’ve ever met. ❤️

Rook is great with other dogs and humans of all ages. He loves going for walks, running and playing in the yard, but he’s just as happy curling up on the couch for some snuggles. 🥰

At only 8 months old, Rook has his whole life ahead of him. All he needs now is someone willing to show him just how wonderful life can be. 🏡❤️

Four years ago, Zero found his forever home through Almost Home. Today, through no fault of his own, he has found himself back in our care after his beloved owner tragically passed away.

Now 5 years old, Zero is understandably devastated to be without his person and without a home to call his own. 💔 But we know his story doesn’t have to end here.

Zero is a sweet boy who does well with other dogs and people of all ages. He deserves the chance to feel safe, loved, and wanted again.
