People Power Patchogue, a grassroots organization inspired by the ACLU, is dedicated to:

• defending and preserving civil rights and American values such as equality, free speech, and voting rights;
• standing in solidarity with our neighbors, particularly those who often fall victim to racism and scapegoating, such as our immigrant, black, and Muslim brothers and sisters; and
• creating stronger

and safer communities by promoting communication and building trust between local government and law enforcement and their constituents. People Power Patchogue is not affiliated with any political party, but is instead an issue-driven organization focusing primarily on local city and countywide initiatives.
