Living Beauty Cancer Foundation

Living Beauty Cancer Foundation educating, uplifting, and empowering women living with cancer through community & sisterhood, resources, and wellness programs

The Living Beauty Cancer Foundation's mission is to educate, uplift, and empower women with cancer by providing them opportunities to explore wellness and healing modalities while developing a sense of community with other women along the same path. The Living Beauty Cancer Foundation believes that empathy, compassion, and sensitivity to the human condition are what first, above all else, allow us

to truly and selflessly help others. We also believe that our integrity and determination to empower our participants in their healing journeys guide us in our service to them. We will uphold these core values in all our endeavors at the Living Beauty Cancer Foundation. The Living Beauty Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, functioning as an activity and service-oriented organization dedicated to uplifting the lives of women living with cancer and cancer survivors. By offering innovative solutions to the challenges that women on their cancer journeys face daily, Living Beauty can realize its mission. In 2020, more than 912,930 women in the United States were diagnosed with cancer. Hospitals are beginning to acknowledge the importance of treating the whole person and are incorporating integrative wellness centers that offer complementary therapies. Recognizing this need since 2005, we are driven by the understanding that the challenges women have to overcome on their cancer journeys are complex and multifaceted. Living with cancer and the harsh treatments that often accompany the disease are known to lead to isolation, depression, high stress, anxiety, decreased physical ability, and altered physical appearance. With this in mind, programs are designed to facilitate the healing of an individual as a whole: mind, body, and spirit.

Healing is not only physical. It’s emotional, spiritual, and deeply personal.

Sometimes it looks like slowing down long enough to let yourself be cared for. To reconnect with your body. To release what you’ve been holding.

Moments of stillness, touch, nature, and intentional care can be powerful reminders that wellness begins within.

Self-care starts with how we nourish ourselves.

The foods we choose have the power to support healing, reduce inflammation, restore energy, and care for our bodies in meaningful ways.

This Sunday, let nourishment be an act of self-respect and love.

More moments from a truly special day filled with beautiful faces, meaningful connections, and the kind of joy that reminds us how powerful community can be.

Every conversation, embrace, smile, and shared moment reflected what Living Beauty is all about: supporting women with cancer through sisterhood, wellness, and care that nurtures the whole person.

Nourishment can be gentle, something easy, something you can reach for.

For women navigating cancer, care often looks like meeting your body where it is, without pressure, without expectation.

Small choices, made with intention, are still powerful.

Not all care is visible.

Sometimes it’s the quiet check-ins, the small pauses, the moments where you notice what you need and respond to it.

Nothing dramatic, nothing performative. Just paying attention to yourself in a softer way.

Marla Martin shares that the Living Beauty Goddess Retreat has been more than an experience, it has been a community built through time, presence, and shared workshops.

A space where she has been able to release stress and anxiety, and reconnect with what she describes as hope, friendship, and meaningful connection following her cancer diagnosis.
We carry that spirit forward into the Spring Luncheon with Living Beauty Cancer Foundation on April 29.

Until then, mytheresa.com will continue to support this mission, proceeds benefiting Living Beauty Cancer Foundation. Use code MYLB26 at checkout. 💜

Not every moment needs to be filled.

Part of taking care of yourself is creating space, stepping away from constant input, distractions, and the need to keep moving.

Even a few minutes of stillness can help your body reset and your mind settle.
