We’re proud to announce a new partnership that’s helping remove barriers between families and the healthcare they need. 💚🚗

2x4 Foundation is partnering with Green Cars for Kids to help provide free, reliable transportation to essential medical care for low-income children and pregnant and postpartum women in Palm Beach County.

Beginning in Belle Glade, this initiative will help ensure that a lack of transportation doesn’t stand in the way of prenatal care, pediatric appointments, and other critical healthcare services.

Through this partnership, Green Cars for Kids and its community partners are providing free, door-to-door rides in all-electric vehicles—creating healthier outcomes for families while supporting a cleaner future. ⚡️

We’re honored to support this important work and look forward to the impact we can make together.
Because getting to care shouldn’t be a barrier to receiving it.

Today, we remember Gloria Steinem, a fearless voice for women and a changemaker whose work reshaped generations.

For more than six decades, Gloria spoke truth to power, challenged the limits placed on women, and devoted her life to creating a world where every woman could have a voice, a choice, and the opportunity to shape her own future.

Her legacy lives in every woman who speaks up, every woman who opens a door for another, and every woman who believes that the world can be better than it is today.

At 2x4 foundation, we are deeply inspired by her life and the countless women she empowered to create change.
Her work reminds us that none of us creates change alone. We carry it forward together.

May we continue the work. May we continue to make space for one another. May we continue to change the world. 🤍

A fierce advocate for survivors, Irene leads with compassion, empowerment, and an unwavering belief in every person’s strength. As Program Director at Women In Transition, she works every day to ensure survivors are heard, supported, and empowered to build lives free from violence and addiction.

We’re proud to celebrate Irene and the incredible impact she makes in her community. 💛

✨ Era V: The 21st Century (2000–Present) ✨

As we conclude our celebration of 250 Years of American Women, we honor the women shaping our world today and inspiring the generations who will follow.

From government and philanthropy to science, technology, and music, Deb Haaland, Melinda French Gates, Dr. Katalin Karikó, Katie Bouman, and Taylor Swift represent the many ways women continue to lead, innovate, and create change.

For 250 years, American women have challenged limits, opened doors, and rewritten what’s possible. While this series may be coming to an end, the story of women making history continues every single day. 💫
Here’s to the trailblazers of yesterday, today, and tomorrow.

250 years of America is a story written by generations of women who refused to be limited by the world they inherited. 🇺🇸

In ERA IV: SOCIAL TRANSFORMATION (1970–2000), we celebrate women who changed the landscape of our nation — from the courtroom to the playing field, from the page to public spaces.

Sandra Day O’Connor, Billie Jean King, Maya Angelou, Gloria Steinem, and Maya Lin each left an indelible mark, proving that courage can take many forms — a ruling, a rally, a poem, a movement, a monument.

Their legacies continue to inspire the future we are building together.

As we continue to celebrate 250 years of America, we’re honoring the women whose courage, innovation, and leadership helped shape our nation’s story.

ERA III 🇺🇸 | Civil Rights & Midcentury America (1920–1970)

During a period of tremendous social change, technological advancement, and cultural transformation, these trailblazers challenged barriers, expanded opportunities, and left a lasting mark on American history.

✨ Eunice Hunton Carter broke legal barriers and helped dismantle organized crime.

🎬 Lucille Ball revolutionized television and became one of Hollywood’s first female studio executives.

💻 Grace Hopper pioneered modern computing and helped lay the foundation for the digital age.

✊ Emma Tenayuca organized workers and fought for labor rights and dignity.

⚖️ Patsy Takemoto Mink championed equal opportunity in education and became the first woman of color elected to Congress.

Their impact reminds us that progress is driven by those willing to lead, challenge convention, and create opportunities for those who follow.

Last weekend, the 2x4 Foundation team had the honor of volunteering at i-tri’s Hamptons Youth Triathlon, celebrating a community built on confidence, courage, and connection.

We are so grateful to support an organization that empowers young girls to believe in themselves and take on challenges they never thought possible.

Congratulations to all of the incredible athletes who crossed that finish line. We are so proud of you! 💜
