Safety Saturday πŸšΆπŸ½β€β™€οΈπŸοΈ 🚲 The sun is OUT!

Summer is a busy time on our roads, trails, and recreational areas. Whether you're driving, biking, walking, rolling, or riding an ATV, we all play a role in keeping our transportation system safe.

A few simple reminders:
β€’ Drivers: Expect to see people walking and bicycling , especially near intersections and trail crossings.
β€’ Walkers: Use crosswalks when available and make eye contact with drivers before crossing.
β€’ Cyclists: Wear a helmet, use lights or reflective gear when visibility is limited, and follow traffic laws.
β€’ ATV Riders: Wear a helmet, ride only in designated legal areas and approved trails. Obey posted signs, be aware of other trail users, and avoid operating ATVs on roads where they are prohibited.
β€’ Everyone: Stay alert and avoid distractions while traveling.

Safe transportation starts with awareness and respect for all users. By looking out for one another and following the rules of the road and trail, we can help ensure everyone gets where they're going safely.
