The Palmer Arts Council is extremely proud to welcome two phenomenal new board members to our organization! This month the PAC board of directors appointed Rory Hamel and Vanessa Powell to serve on the board. Both Rory and Vanessa are very active in the Palmer arts scene, participating in and volunteering in many of the events the PAC hosts and sponsors.

Vanessa Powell is a retired art educator who continues to create art. You may have visited her booth at the Arts in the Garden last weekend! Her desire is to see the offerings of the PAC grow and serve underrepresented populations in the community.

Rory Hamel is operations manager at Alopex Interaction Design. He is among the most active volunteers for the PAC, having offered his time to many of the large events our organization has presented. He will bring to the table his connections with the local business scene and his eye for design!

We are thrilled to be joined by these two new board members who fill out our board of 9 members. Please join us in welcoming them and thank them for sharing their time and talents with the Palmer Arts Council!
