As autumn begins to draw the outer world inward, a new season of study and sustained practice opens at Tara Mandala.
Beginning September 18, The Heart of Buddhism: A Year of Study and Practice offers a complete journey through all five courses in this foundational series. The year begins with Part I: The Path of Liberation, taught online by Dr. Amelia Hall from September 18 to October 25.
From September 25 to 30, Dentog Chigma Chöd with Dorje Lopön Charlotte Rotterdam and Lopön Pieter Oosthuizen offers a profound immersion in this core practice of Machig Labdrön’s lineage, online with an optional onsite attendance opportunity.
On October 14, DHARMA FRIENDS: Buddhism x Psychedelics x Remembering Bob Thurman x Mahamudra brings Megan Mook and Kevin Townley together for an online conversation.
On October 20, Lopön Karla Jackson-Brewer offers Empathy Fatigue, an afternoon of insight and guided Feeding Your Demons® practice.
Then, from October 30 to December 13, The Heart of Buddhism Part II: What the Buddha Taught continues the season with Dr. Amelia Hall.
May this turning of the season support a deepening of study, practice, and connection.
