Back to School means Back to the Basics, and that Includes ๐‚ ๐Ž ๐ ๐’ ๐„ ๐ ๐“.

As students head back to classrooms, sports, activities, and friendships, itโ€™s a great time to talk about boundaries, respect, and consent.

Consent education can start with simple, everyday lessons:
โ€ข โ€œNoโ€ and โ€œstopโ€ should be respected.
โ€ข Everyone gets to have boundaries.
โ€ข Listen when someone says theyโ€™re uncomfortable.
โ€ข You never owe someone affection or physical contact.
โ€ข Respect goes both ways.

These conversations donโ€™t have to be complicated. Teaching consent early helps young people understand that their voice matters and that the boundaries of others matter, too.

Letโ€™s send our kids back to school knowing that kindness, respect, and consent belong in every classroom, friendship, and relationship.
