𝙂𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙨 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙍𝙪𝙣 is so much more than a running program, it's a chance to build confidence, create connections, and remind every girl of her strength.

As Rise Above Violence gets ready to celebrate another incredible season, we're always looking for caring adults to join us as coaches and running buddies. While the girls gain valuable life skills, confidence, and encouragement, many of our volunteers discover that they receive just as much in return.

There's something incredibly rewarding about showing up each week, cheering girls on as they challenge themselves, and watching them realize they're capable of more than they ever imagined.

Mental Health support doesn’t always come from formal services. For many survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, it can start with everyday moments of safety and care.

It can look like someone believing you, respecting your boundaries, checking in without pressure, or simply staying present 🌱

For survivors, these small actions can make a real difference in rebuilding trust and safety over time 🤍
