They understood the assignment. 🏀✨

Our Lady Legacies 10th Grade / 15U squad stepped into the March Madness Tournament and walked away with BOTH the Invitational Championship Division I AND Division II Championship — UNDEFEATED.

They competed, and they FINISHED.
Every journey has a starting point, and this was ours.
This was about building confidence, chemistry, and proving to themselves that they can dominate when they lock in.

We are incredibly proud of these young women. This is only the beginning.
There’s been a slight delay, but trust us… we’re just getting started.

📸 Travel content + exclusive photoshoots will be dropping all month long, stay locked in.

Now, we’re calling on our community to help us continue this mission.

Our 10th Grade / 15U Lady Legacies squad will officially open our participation in the March Madness Tournament, representing the Virgin Islands with pride, discipline, and heart.

These young women have been putting in the work, long practices, fundraising, and preparation, all for moments like this. This is more than basketball. It’s about creating opportunity, exposure, and showing the strength of female athletes from the Virgin Islands.

If you believe in building opportunities for young women in sports, we invite you to support their journey. Every contribution helps these athletes compete, travel, and grow through the game.

💜🏀 LADY LEGACIES NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT — MARCH 5–9 🏀💜

Our Lady Legacies Elite Territorial Girls Travel Program is preparing to compete in an exposure-certified March Madness tournament from March 5–9 — and we need our community behind us.

This isn’t just a basketball trip.
It’s college exposure.
It’s leadership development.

It’s opportunity beyond the Virgin Islands.
We are currently raising $5,000 to cover travel, lodging, tournament registration, and team expenses to ensure our girls can compete at this level and represent the territory with excellence.

These young women represent St. Croix, St. Thomas, and St. John. Also the BVI.
They show up.
They train.
They sacrifice.
They commit to something bigger than themselves.

Through GRACE Resources, we are building more than athletes — we are building leaders, discipline, sisterhood, and long-term opportunity.

✨ Any remaining funds will be applied toward their May travel expenses, helping reduce future financial burden on families and allowing us to continue providing exposure opportunities throughout the season.

💜 Gratitude Post | Community Came Through 💜

One week before this trip, we were faced with something every youth program dreads.

Support that had been confirmed for travel and housing was suddenly no longer available. Just days before departure, we were staring at the very real possibility of having to tell our girls that the trip they trained for, sacrificed for, and dreamed about… might not happen.

The hardest part wasn’t logistics.
It was the thought of disappointing these kids.

Girls who showed up early.
Girls who stayed late.
Girls who believed in the promise that hard work leads to opportunity.

And then, our community showed up. 🫶🏽

✨ Comissioner Roberts with of Sports, Parks and Recreation stepped in and covered ferry transportation, immediately lifting one of the biggest barriers and giving us hope again.
✨ Ib Designs , a USVI-based business, said yes when it mattered most, choosing to invest in young women and their futures.
✨ Joyia Inspirational Je , another USVI-based business, answered the call with generosity, compassion, and belief in what Lady Legacies stands for.

And to our very special Angel donor, you know who you are!!! We truly appreciate you deeply!

And also Mr. P Copley we are so thankful for your support.

Because of YOU, this trip was saved.
Because of YOU, these girls did not have to learn the lesson that promises fall through when things get hard.

This weekend reminded us that purpose has a way of putting you exactly where you’re meant to be.

We brought multiple student athletes from our nonprofit, GRACE, to the Paradise Jam in St. Thomas. Their presence alone got attention — their behavior, unity, and energy made people stop and ask who they were.

They got bonus VIP access (thank you Paradise Jam Tournament - Karen M. Carty) AND then ESPN pulled me for an interview.

Our first national spotlight… and such a beautiful moment for the girls to see what’s possible.

So grateful. So proud. So encouraged.
