We're very proud of our own Kara for representing the Republic of Korea in the midnight crisis session this evening as a delegate of the prestigious United Nations Security Council committee. Join us in wishing her the best of luck as she tackles the ad-hoc crisis of a nautical dispute between Turkey and Greece.

We are incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication that was on full display over four days of intense debate and competition with over 3,300 students from across the world.

Our delegates in DC for .georgetown were honored to visit the US State Department earlier today. Our delegates heard from several speakers on the history and realities of life for American diplomats and had the opportunity to participate in a live simulation of a diplomatic crisis.

This season, the students of Tampa Bay Homeschool Model United Nations (TBHMUN) have achieved remarkable success. Competing at conferences like KnightMUN (UCF) and GatorMUN (UF), our homeschool delegates earned multiple Best Delegate and Outstanding Delegate awards, holding their own against large public and private schools across Florida.

Now, in just 7 days, our team heads to the North American Invitational Model United Nations (NAIMUN) in Washington, D.C.—one of the largest and most competitive Model UN conferences in the world, with 3,000+ students attending annually.

NAIMUN is the culmination of months of preparation—but it’s also the single most expensive part of our season. Flights, lodging, conference fees, and transportation add up quickly, and we’re working hard to ensure that cost is never the reason a student can’t attend.
