DLG will host Island Pomona Contests on Saturday May 16th. Grange contests are similar to fair entries. Items are entered, judged and awarded ribbons. Categories include photography, arts and crafts, quilting, needlework, baking, canning and more. Contact us at [email protected] for more information and rules, or go to the WA State Grange website: www.wa-grange.com Grange contests are open to the public. Many enter items into the Grange contests in May/June, and then enter the same items into the Whidbey Island Fair in July.
