We are a community based, civil rights and peer advocacy organization dedicated to helping adults, children and families with any kind of disability.

It's Code Blue Season! The Genesis House Code Blue Warming Center is open, through November 30.

We will be open only on nights it will be below 32 with wind chill, tonight is not a Code Blue night.

December 1-March 31, we will be open every night.

After April 1, we will be open only on nights it's expected to be below 32.

People can present at 107 S. Barry St. starting at 5 p.m.

There will be a brief intake process. Guests will be provided with a hot meal and a place to sleep. They will also have the option to take a shower and do a load of laundry.

People seeking shelter should contact the Department of Social Services at 1 Leo Moss Dr. Monday-Friday from 8:30-3:30, (716) 373-8065

Our OPWDD Transitions team enjoyed collaborating with Mrs. Neice’s class from Olean High School to learn about the importance of personal hygiene and building healthy daily routines!

At D.I.L., we’re all about promoting independence, developing life skills, and creating meaningful connections within our community. 💙 Opportunities like these help individuals build confidence and strengthen the skills they need for everyday life.

We're kicking off our Annual Warm Drive with our first "Cram the Van" event! Our mission is simple: fill the D.I.L. van from floor to ceiling with hats, gloves, scarves, coats, socks, boots, and other cold-weather essentials for those in need throughout our community.
