September is Su***de Prevention Awareness Month 💚🇺🇸

To most people, 22 is just a number. For many veterans, it represents a reminder of why connection matters.

At the Dwyer Coalition, we know that support doesn't always happen in a counseling office. Sometimes it happens over a cup of coffee, a shared meal, a good laugh, or a simple conversation with someone who understands.

"A burden shared is a burden lightened, and hope grows stronger when we face challenges together."

Real strength isn't carrying every burden alone. Sometimes it's reaching out, checking in on a friend, or saying, "I'm having a tough day." That's courage, too.

This month, let's remind our veterans, service members, and their families that they are never alone. Your story matters. Your struggles matter. And most importantly, you matter.

If you know a veteran who could use some camaraderie, encouragement, or just a place to belong, invite them to a Dwyer event. Together, we can build connection, restore hope, and make sure no one has to face tomorrow alone.

One conversation can make a difference. One friendship can save a life.

What a great day at Outdoor Arts & Recreation Society - OARS!
🍂 Our Transitions Program spent the day on a nature scavenger hunt, searching for treasures throughout the beautiful outdoor setting. 🌱
After all that exploring, we enjoyed a special lunch inside a teepee. It was a day full of fun, learning, and outdoor adventure! 🌿🛖
