The SPCA in Cattaraugus County is inviting community members to support local animal welfare through its annual Fall Pizza Sale, a longtime tradition that helps raise essential funds to care for animals throughout the region.
The fundraiser features 12-inch pizzas for $12 each, available in plain cheese or cheese and pepperoni. Pizzas will be prepared ready for the oven or freezer, offering a convenient meal option while supporting a great cause.
All orders must be placed by the end of the day on Monday, November 2nd. Orders can be placed by calling the SPCA at 716-372-8492 or by stopping by the shelter during open hours: Tuesday through Saturday from noon to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m.
Pizza pickup will take place Saturday, November 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Pulaski Club, located at 1104 N. Union Street in Olean.
Fundraisers such as the annual pizza sale play a vital role in sustaining the shelter’s operations. Donations and fundraising efforts account for more than 70 percent of the organization’s annual income, making community involvement essential to providing ongoing care for the animals.
Founded in 1905, the SPCA in Cattaraugus County is a private, nonprofit animal shelter dedicated to saving lives and providing adoption services for homeless and neglected pets. As the largest animal shelter in New York’s Southern Tier, the organization works to rescue stray, abandoned and neglected animals while improving their quality of life and helping them find loving homes.
By purchasing a pizza or helping spread the word, community members can make a meaningful contribution to the care and well-being of animals in need throughout Cattaraugus County. The SPCA encourages residents to take part in this fall tradition and help ensure the shelter can continue its important work.
