It’s finally 10 Buck Lunch Week!

Our not-so-far-away friends in Midtown are serving up $10 lunch specials all week long, and we’re always happy to support what’s happening in our neighboring districts.

From August 24–28, participating Midtown restaurants will have $10 lunch specials available from 11 AM–2 PM. It’s a great excuse to grab a coworker, get out of the office and try somewhere new. Or go straight back to your favorite. No judgment here.

A very flattering look at last night’s BioPitch Series! Oklahoma Bio Week continued at The Verge OKC as eight finalists took the stage to pitch their life science companies and concepts in front of Oklahoma’s growing bioscience and entrepreneurial community. It was a great night of big ideas, great conversations and an even better crowd.

Thank you to The Verge OKC and OKBioStart for partnering with us to bring the BioPitch Series to life, to everyone who joined us and, of course, to each of the founders who stepped up to the mic and shared what they’re building.
Oklahoma Bio Week has given us plenty to celebrate this week, and we’re not finished yet!

Oklahoma Bio Week continues to showcase just how much is happening in healthcare and bioscience across our state!

Yesterday, we brought together leaders from across Oklahoma’s healthcare and bioscience community for The Future of Innovation in Healthcare & Bioscience, with conversations centered on where these industries are today and where they’re headed next.

The room included perspectives from Oklahoma Blood Institute, ARL Bio Pharma, Cytovance Biologics, Wheeler Bio, Moleculera Biosciences, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma Hospital Association and Mercy.

Having so many of these organizations together is a great representation of the healthcare and bioscience ecosystem that continues to grow within the Oklahoma City Innovation District and across the state.

Yesterday’s conversation touched on the opportunities ahead, emerging technologies, workforce needs and the partnerships that will be critical to Oklahoma’s continued growth in these industries.

Thank you to our panelists, partners and everyone who joined us for such a great turnout.

Oklahoma Bio Week continues TODAY with the BioPitch Series Pitch Competition at The Verge OKC!

Eight finalists will take the stage to pitch their life science companies and concepts live, bringing together entrepreneurship, bioscience and the people helping grow Oklahoma’s innovation ecosystem.

We’re excited to partner with The Verge OKC and OKBioStart to bring this Bio Week event to life and give these founders an opportunity to share what they’re building.

We kicked things off with the Oklahoma Bio Industry Showcase, brought a little friendly competition to Innovation Hall with What The Cell? Trivia Night, and continued today with conversations around the future of healthcare and bioscience in Oklahoma.

We wanted to check in with a look at the week so far and, more importantly, what’s still to come.
