Meet Chef Chad Horvath! Chef Horvath has worked with the Oklahoma Restaurant Association on a few separate occasions, through Odyssey de Culinaire in 2014, the Culinary Cook-off, and judging ProStart in both Oklahoma & Texas for the last 7 years.
Chef Horvath, corporate Culinary Director for SERVEGROUP, originally grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah. He started working in food and beverage at 16 and spent over 28 years in the industry in various positions. During that time, he got his Culinary Arts Degree from Scottsdale Culinary Institute, a Le Cordon Bleu program. Chad worked his way up through the ranks from dishwasher, line cook, lead cook, supervisor, saucier, Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Executive Chef, Director of Food & Beverage, and leading his way finally to General Manager in the hospitality industry.
