It is days like this when we HATE Childhood Cancer even more. We have lost one of our amazing Kids with Courage... another young fighter, a shining star who brightened the lives of all who knew her. Ady, You will be in our hearts forever!

To all of our prayer warriors, please hold this family up in prayer. They lost Ady yesterday, and also lost Ady's mom unexpectedly about a week ago. Prayers are needed and appreciated!

Two fun events coming up for our Jimmy Everest Center patients and their families!

1) This Sunday, your little heroes have a chance to Race with the Stars at POPS! It is part of the CW show Great American Road Rally: Celebrity Edition and a chance for photos/video with the stars participating. The Kids' Event starts at 11 am. They will also get to pick their favorite car, enjoy a FREE soda from Pops and collect a goodie bag with snacks, a treat and more! RSVP ASAP with kids' names and ages to [email protected]

2) Let's Go to the Movies - Toy Story 5. Flyer attached. First come -- So RSVP to Jackie at [email protected]

Attention Jimmy Everest Center patients and families -- We have a really fun event coming up. Stars will be rolling into OKC as part of the Great American Road Rally: Celebrity Edition --- And you are invited to team up with them in a special Valve Cover Race at Pops 66 Sunday, August 9th! Racing starts at 11 am. JEC kiddos will also choose their favorite car in our Great American Road Rally: Celebrity Edition OKC Car Show. A huge shout out to all of the Car, Truck and Cycle owners, to our JEC families, Friends of the Jimmy Everest Center volunteers and to the many community members who turned out to make this year's Race For Time North at Oakdale Baptist Church such an overwhelming success. A special shout-out to our Balloon Artist John Panzy and to Don and Gale Lane of Oklahoma Valve Cover Racing for running our Kids' Racing event! We had over 100 cars turn out and 93 entered our competition. As the event wrapped up, we handed out more than 55 awards. We also had a chance to provide a small gift to all of our Dads in attendance. Thanks for sharing a part of your Father's Day weekend with us. Finally, a huge thank you to all of our volunteers.
