This week's Partner Spotlight is Lawton Food Bank!

The Lawton Food Bank was founded in 1985 by Carter and Marilyn Crane, who recognized a growing need in the community that was not being met. With compassion and determination, the Crane family rallied their friends, their church, other local congregations, and area businesses to help care for neighbors without stable access to food.

Our Daily Bread Food & Resource Center was established in 2017 from a combination of several local food pantries. Instead of continuing to do a little bit separately, they believed they could do more together. They also operate their three satellite food pantry sites in Cushing, Ripley, and Lincoln Academy in Stillwater.

Thank you INTEGRIS Health for investing $50,000 into our Healthy Pantry Network project!

Thanks to this grant, the Regional Food Bank partners with INTEGRIS Health clinics to provide healthy meal boxes to patients who screen positive for food insecurity. These boxes contain shelf-stable, nutritious foods designed to support individuals managing chronic conditions and experiencing barriers to accessing healthy meals.
