Have you been watching what’s going on with our new neighbors in Lexford Park? You’ll have the chance to get a closer look as they join The Parade of Homes this weekend!

Big Daddy's Burgers food truck will be on-site, so why don't you have a burger and support a local business!

🇺🇸 America is turning 250. Crown Heights and Edgemere Heights have been the life of the Fourth of July party ever since our neighborhood parade tradition began in 1973.

The Heights Fourth of July Parade has been rolling down Shartel for more than 50 years. That's over 20% of America's history spent waving flags, building wildly creative floats, making the occasional slightly inappropriate joke, and proving that a little friendly neighborhood competition is as American as Apple Pie.

Whether you're building this year's masterpiece or just coming to cheer from the curb, we'd love to see you there. Bikes, wagons, golf carts, strollers, trailers, scooters, and whatever over-the-top nonsense 39th West comes up with are all welcome.

Here's to 250 years of America, nearly 100 years of Crown Heights, more than five decades of parade memories, and another year of reminding the rest of OKC that nobody celebrates the Fourth like CH-EH.

🇺🇸 Parade: 10:00 AM
(Starts in Park. Finishes South down Shartel from 40th)

🌭 Park Picnic: 12:00 PM

The neighborhood will provide hot dogs and drinks. Bring your favorite side dish or dessert to share.

Neighbor Elle Stabinski, a rising senior at Casady School, has organized a garage sale this weekend to benefit the Free to Smile Foundation.

🗓 Saturday, June 13
⏰ 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
📍 812 NW 40th Street

Come shop a wide variety of upscale donated items, including women's, men's, and children's clothing, games, furniture, household items, and more. All proceeds will support Free to Smile's mission of providing life-changing cleft lip and palate surgeries for children in Guatemala.

Elle and her mother, Dr. Jordan Stabinski, have volunteered on several medical mission trips and have seen firsthand the impact these surgeries have on children and their families.

This sale is a wonderful opportunity to support an important cause while finding some great bargains. We love seeing CH-EH kids making a difference!
