Western Avenue just got a little sweeter.

Meet Route 66 Gelato, the new spot we’ve all been stalking on Western Avenue, located next to ! Owners Jennifer and Samuel Aubrey are excited to bring small batch, authentic gelato to the neighborhood. It’s the kind of place you walk to after dinner… every night.

We got some samples and the hype is warranted. Classic favorites, creative options, and even vegan scoops that could absolutely pass for the real thing.

They were aiming for a marathon weekend debut, but give it just one more week. Good things, especially gelato, are worth the wait. The space is adorable and the owners couldn’t be nicer.

Go ahead and give them a follow so you’re ready when the doors open!

Neighbors, and friends…are you ready to go bananas?

Gorilla Hill warms up Saturday night at 6:00pm with a pre-party you don’t want to miss.

Cane’s chicken, Burgers, Face Painting, live music, and everyone’s favorite marathon photo opp. 🦍

Bring a lawn chair and a blanket, it’ll cool off once the sun goes down.

Join us at 10AM in front of the Reeves' house in Crown Heights Park for the OU Big Event.

OU student volunteers will work alongside neighbors to prep flower beds, prune shrubs and trees, clean the creek, tend to Henry's Garden and have jolly good time! 🌳🌼🌞🌱
