Apologies for being quiet…

So a mystery virus kicked me down for a solid 6 weeks which led to blood tests that led to a scary rush to the ER, ambulance ride, CT scans, MRI and a very nice surgical specialist 😅. Long story short it’s nothing scary and we’ll know 100% for sure in 3 months with a follow up MRI. Soooo anyway, all this to apologize for being quiet. I’m back to working and as empassioned as ever to help animals with Rescue The Rescues and we have a music video launching this week! 🐶 Also need to thank Drew for keeping me alive through the yuck and being the best caregiver… ladies, choose a man that will hold your hair while you’re being sick🤢❤️ He’s a keeper! 😆

🎥 VIDEOGRAPHER HELP needed please🎶🐾
We’ve been asked to create a music video to help encourage shelter adoptions with our song, “Waiting At The Gate”. Think heart tugging, call to action video with dogs in the shelter, both sad and defeated and also happy ones with tail wags and kisses. The song is powerful and put to video it’ll be a tearjerker and hopefully encourage more people to walk into their local shelter and adopt! Even a talented youth with tech skills would be great! Moses and Simon did the interview with me and they were great! I didn’t realize I was on live during the music because it was silent on my end and I totally dorked out 😂🙈. Of course now I’m thinking of a million more things I should have said but not terrible for my first podcast. I’m trying so hard to spread the word about this awesome album! So many amazing artists contributed and I know it has the power to help so many!

Our parent 501c3, Horses That Help, explaining more about the project… ❤️🐾🎵

After 2+ years of collaborating on this project it is finally up and ready to save lives by funding OTHER animal rescues! It’s a super simple concept… buy a music album made for people who love animals and choose which rescue receives your money! I truly believe we can sweep the nation and flood hard working rescues with funds they desperately need!

I’m so nervous, we are soft launching!!! Praying this project helps as much as I know it can ❤️

If you’ve followed us for long, you’ve probably noticed that we’ve been helping less and it breaks my heart but we had to slow down to stay afloat. Cleaning stalls a couple years ago I was overcome with emotion after reading a tearful post from a rescue shutting their doors and I was terrified we’d be next. The old grey horse below put his head on my shoulder and I was so thankful for him and so thankful for his appreciative owner who begged us to take him after he could no longer keep his farm. He donated round pen panels, saddles, all sorts of equipment to thank us for keeping his old boy safe and his words “God Bless the Rescuers” played like a country song. You might remember my post making a weird request looking for a male singer and that viral post connected us to a fantastic artist that turned the song in my head into a really great one that could top the charts! Well now what?
We wanted to help our rescue of course but there’s so many other rescues helping the abused, starving and neglected and they all have financial fears because having a heart bigger than your wallet sucks. After prayer and collaboration with people a lot smarter and more talented than me, an entire music album dedicated to animals and the people that help them was born. ❤️ The best part is that we’ve included 501c3 rescues from all over the country and you can choose your favorite nonprofit to receive the $10 proceeds when you purchase the album! We’ve all seen trends virally sweep the nation and wouldn’t it be AMAZING if a trend for good, a lifeline for rescues raised millions effortlessly?
