Centro Community Partners "Empowering Entrepreneurs - Growing Thriving Communities" At Centro Community Partners, our philosophy is values-based, mission focused, and community-oriented.

We are grounded on the principle that individuals can contribute greatly to the economic, social, and natural well-being of their community. Entrepreneurship is an important driver of economic stability and growth for communities. While entrepreneurship development programs do exist in California and nationwide, most of these programs fail to address the specific and multifaceted needs of underserved entrepreneurs. After completing these programs, most entrepreneurs are still ineligible for financing due to bad credit, insufficient collateral, and inadequate cash flow. Their ability to succeed in business is limited by the lack of management experience, business skills, and leadership ability required to be an effective entrepreneur. Centro Community Partners recognized the gap in the current microenterprise development model and has created a unique program to help entrepreneurs achieve financial stability.

We’re honored to share that Centro Community Partners has been selected as a recipient of the eBay Foundation Global Give grant for the sixth time. 💙

This flexible, general operating support helps us meet entrepreneurs where they are, strengthening our programs, expanding access to capital, and investing in tools like our AI-powered, bilingual Centro CEO Platform.

Here’s what that support helped make possible in FY 2025–26:
• 474 entrepreneurs served
• $738,000 in loans accessed by 48 entrepreneurs (avg. $15K)
• 88% loan repayment
• 165 coaching hours provided

We’re grateful to the eBay Foundation for continuing to invest in the infrastructure that makes this work possible, and in the entrepreneurs building stronger futures for their communities.
