With the recent launch of our 2027 Membership Drive this week, now is the perfect time to introduce you to EBHO’s newest staff member, Senior Membership & Community Engagement Associate Thoey Bou!

Thoey will be overseeing all things membership—including implementing outreach strategies for new folks to join our community, developing new opportunities for longtime members to get involved, and leading our upcoming Annual Membership Meeting & Celebration in November.

She is passionate about climate and environmental justice, fighting for people and the planet over profit. Before joining EBHO, Thoey worked across the environmental, nonprofit, corporate, and biotech sectors, alongside running a small creative business. She earned a B.S. in Biology from UC Santa Cruz as a first-generation college student.

Please join us in welcoming Thoey to the EBHO team!
