The Mustard Seed Immigration Law Project has completed its purpose. Thanks and blessings to everyone who supported this work over the years, as clients from countries like Nigeria, Cameroon, Mongolia (two cases!) Honduras and Guatemala won their asylum cases. Special thanks and appreciation to our board of directors, especially my husband Art Springs for the time and effort he put into creating and producing an eclectic CD fundraising project featuring top-tier musicians, all working together remotely during COVID. It's been an amazing journey.

Well, it's been such a busy year that I haven't had time to post very much! I'm eternally grateful for the first two Mustard Seed clients from Nigeria and Cameroon who won their asylum cases earlier this year. We took these cases at no cost to the client, so YES we are grateful for your tax-deductible donations! Go to https://mustardseedimmigrationlawproject.org to make a year-end contribution, and THANK YOU!

-From Peggy Bristol, Executive Director and supervising attorney

Welcome to our new nonprofit as we expand our work representing asylum seekers! The Mustard Seed Immigration Law Project is sponsored by the Law Office of Peggy J. Bristol, both in the San Francisco Bay Area.

MSILP's clients come from diverse countries--Cameroon, El Salvador, Guatemala, Mongolia, Nigeria, and Senegal. Most of these clients are in removal (deportation) proceedings in an immigration court. Some were victims of severe domestic violence in "machista" countries. Some are LGBTQ in places where that is not accepted. Others faced persecution for their religious work and/or their political opinions. Many were beaten, others tortured. All are afraid of what may happen to them if they are forced to return to their home countries.

We'll add news and updates here, and your tax-deductible donations to this work are always appreciated!
