Many people coming home from prison are starting over financially with no savings, no bank account, and little guidance on managing money in the outside world. That’s why financial wellness is a core part of the Ready 4 Life fellowship at Creating Restorative Opportunities and Programs.

Last week, our partner Chase hosted the first of many financial wellness sessions for our LA fellows. Community Manager Christopher Beene covered everything from credit and budgeting, to what it actually takes to prepare to buy a home. And our fellows turned up suited, booted, and ready to learn!

A big thank you to Chase for supporting our LA fellows and making financial wellness part of their journey

"This is not a seminar..this is your life."

Every Ready 4 Life fellowship begins with three days that challenge how you think about yourself, your future, and what's possible.

Fellows come together to start building the mindset and community that will carry them through the year ahead. But it all starts with an important decision - to show up and participate fully.

Welcome to the newest Ready 4 Life cohorts in LA and the Bay Area! We're excited to walk this journey with you.

Prison is hard on relationships. When people come out, there’s a lot of pressure to make up for lost time. But it’s not always that easy. At CROP, we recognize that family relationships are a crucial part of the reentry journey. Where possible, we work with fellows to support reunification. We can either go fast alone, or far together 💙
