Friends of deFremery Center is a 501(c)3 organization whose mission is to enhance the quality of life of low income families who receive services at Oakland's First Park, deFremery Park, located in Oakland, CA. We provide access to cultural, recreational and education events outside the community, create scholarship funds and establish a safe haven for our children and their families. We are a group of residents who acknowledge it is our responsibility to nurture and provide the village setting for our children that leads to healthy families and communities
