If you’re struggling, feeling overwhelmed, or simply need someone to talk to, please know that you don’t have to face it alone. Reaching out is a sign of strength, and there are people who care and want to listen.
Take a moment to check in on someone you care about. A simple “How are you doing?” can mean more than you know.
You matter. Your life matters. And our community is better because you are part of it.

Fall is in the air and the Norwich YMCA Outdoor Instructional soccer program for youth ages 3&4 and 5&6 are taking place.

357 individual donors and businesses offered their support to the ongoing work of the Norwich Family YMCA by supporting our 2025-2026 Annual Support Campaign that directly raised over 226,000 that will support financial scholarships, program and facility support and more.

That’s a wrap on another GREAT summer for the Norwich Family YMCA Bolts Youth Track Program! ⚡️

Over 50 kids participated in the Bolts program this summer, averaging between 35–50 young athletes each week. 🤗

While we had a few families away on vacation throughout the summer, overall, it was a REALLY great season filled with learning, growth, friendships, and lots of running!

A special thank you to the Norwich City School District for your incredible support and for allowing us to utilize the amazing new track at Norwich High School. Having such a great facility for our young athletes has made a tremendous difference!

We also want to recognize the incredible young leaders who stepped up to help make this program such a success. Our Oxford varsity athletes, along with one college runner who has been part of the Bolts family for years, gave their time, energy, and experience to help our younger athletes learn and improve. We are so proud of them! 👏

For years, the Bolts program has helped area youth learn the fundamentals of track and field while building confidence, friendships, discipline, and a love for the sport.

Watching you grow, thrive, learn, and improve year after year is second to none. But seeing so many of you move on to the modified and high school track levels and excel… that’s something really special. ❤️

We see you, Bolts. ⚡️
